My name is Wayne Whaley and I have been taking photographs most of my life. I have lived all over North Carolina at some time or another. I call Burke County home but I grew up on the Coast in Morehead City, N.C. I was introduced to graphic arts in high school and realized that I also had a passion for photography. Photography is a passion to me. I love to create the next shot and get the one that no one else sees. Story telling is a must and photography can do that. If a photograph is done right, it will tell lots of stories for many years. I love working with people and have a good time while doing so. I currently teach computer and network engineering in the Burke County Public School system. On top of all of the above, I currently shoot local high school sports for the Morganton News-Herald newspaper. I have an active membership in the North Carolina Press Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers of America organizations. I work with numerous models throughout the area and love working with people of all ages. I love working with people of all ages. I have two young children of my own, Christopher and Stephanie who I adore and I love living in Burke County, North Carolina .
